Thank you to all who joined us for Connecting to the Heart of Thriving Communities, the 2023 Industrial Heartlands Trails Coalitions Summit in Pittsburgh, PA!
The two-day, in-person event explored community and economic development with examples from within the IHTC footprint and aspirational examples from around the country. Sessions and panels explored how trails became community assets, research and development, trails as connectors to other outdoor recreation opportunities, etc. Participants came together to network, heard from industry leaders, and took a ride along Pittsburgh’s beloved Three Rivers Heritage Trail.
